Nouvelles Études Francophones (NEF)
(ISSN 1552-3152) is the official refereed journal of the International Council
of Francophone Studies / Conseil International d’Études Francophones (CIÉF). Volume 19.2 (Fall 2004), the first issue published under the title NEF,
continues the numbering of Études Francophones. Eight issues of NEF have now been published.
NEF publishes scholarly research in the language, arts,
literatures, cultures, and civilizations of Francophone countries and regions
throughout the world. Indexed by the MLA Directory of Periodicals NEF is also a member of the "Council of Editors of Learned Journals" (CELJ).
NEF is published biannually, in the fall and the spring. Active members of the
CIÉF automatically receive the
journal. Libraries and institutions also subscribe to the journal (see
below).

Subscriptions
A subscription to NEF is automatic for current CIÉF members. In order to join the association, please visit the CIÉF website, where you can register online or download membership forms (variable rates are available, depending on the professional status or geographical location).
Libraries and institutions as well as individuals can subscribe to NEF for US $ 50.00 per year or purchase individual issues, articles, offprints, etc. Please see the subscriptions and purchases page.
Advertising
Nouvelles Études Francophones welcomes advertising in relation to its pedagogical, academic, and scholarly mission. The journal is distributed worldwide to libraries, private as well as governmental organizations, academic associations, and multidisciplinary journals.
